One size does'nt fit all

We work with our clients to provide 'joined up' development.   We don't pay attention to the needs of one group at the expense of another.   There is connectivity - managers at all levels have/develop a shared understanding of, and common language around:

* What leadership and managment looks like in the organisation
* How the organisation, and indivduals within in, are going to grow the leadership and management skills, knowledge and behaviours
required at each level
* What success looks like AND how to achieve it
* Evaluating success

We close the skills, knowledge and heaviours gap between one layer and the next of management, whilst maintaining impetus and growth at every level.   In our experience, a recipe for disaster is to develop one level of managers and leaders at the expense of other levels with the organisation.   This does not, however, mean that everyone is developed in the SAME way.   Far from it.

Our believe is that while there are common issues/features/building blocks (constants) to be considered for each leadership and management development project, assignment or activity, these constants are 'loaded' with a series of variables.   Ignore the variables at your peril.   If you do, you run the risk of merely producing a carbon copy management development 'solution' (although you should notcall it a solution because it won't necessarily work)  Pay attention to the variable and the outcome is a realistic, organisation and individual focused process which is based on what the organisation really want, the aspirations, culture and reality of the organisation.
